Reloading Windows from the System Restoration CD:
This process will permanently erase everything on your computer and will reload the hard drive just like the first time you ever used your computer. If you would like to just reset things back by a day or so without erasing files, try the System Restore section.

System Restore:
No matter what your symptom is, you may be able to correct the situation using System Restore. This is a good first step in troubleshooting if you can get into Windows. Select your operating system to give it a try:
