| One of the new features of Internet Explorer 5.0 is the ability to pick and choose which components are installed on your computer. With previous versions of the application you had one installation choice. With the release of the new version you can easily go to the Microsoft website and download just what you need: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/. |

| While at the Microsoft download site, click on the Download Button or select the Download option on the left hand menu. The Download window will open. Select the radio button for Run this program from its current location and click "Ok". |

| Next scroll to read through the end user agreement. When done, click "Next". |

| Choose typical installation or customized installation. Next, the component window opens. Select the components that you want to install. You can easily check and uncheck each component. |

| Next, select a download site from the list of selections. Internet Explorer will be downloaded to your computer and automatically installed. |

| If for any reason your download process is interrupted you will be given the option to save a shortcut to your desktop which will allow you to resume your download at a later point. To resume the download, simply double-click the shortcut. |
